RGU’s masters degree’s among the strongest in the world
Four masters degree programmes delivered at Robert Gordon University’s (RGU) Aberdeen Business School have been ranked among the world’s best by Eduniversal.
The Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking assesses master’s programmes from thousands of Business Schools and Universities across the world in 2013/2014.
The degrees are categorised by subject area and then ranked accordingly. The Masters in Public Administration featured highest for RGU at number 37.
The MSc Property Management course ranked number 44 in the top Real Estate Management programmes, while LLM International Commercial Law ranked number 47 in the best Business and Commercial Law programmes.
The MSc Corporate Communications and Public Affairs degree ranked at number 48 among the best communications programmes in across the globe.
The rankings are based on three main criteria including, the reputation of the program, the career prospects and the salary level graduates receive in their first employment.
Rita Marcella, Dean of Aberdeen Business School, is delighted with these results and believes the links the school has are proving to be very strong and beneficial for both students and graduates.
She said: “It’s excellent the work that Aberdeen Business School does is not going unnoticed and we are delighted that some of our masters programmes have been recognised among the finest in the world.
“Aberdeen Business School’s courses are delivered by academics with relevant industry experience and we encourage working with industry through every discipline from accountancy to PR.”
She continued: “Aberdeen Business School aims to prepare the innovative and entrepreneurial leaders of the future with the capacity to anticipate and manage change in international business and the professional environment. The latest rankings show that we have the facilities here to do just that.”
Just recently RGU’s online MBA was ranked by the QS Distance/Online MBA Ranking as one of the top online courses at highly rated business schools.
This was first ever ranking of online MBA’s and it was designed to help applicants identify the world’s strongest online MBA courses and RGU’s Aberdeen Business School was featured at number 23.
