Leisure centre radio is first for Aberdeen City
SportAberdeen is in the process of launching their First Ever Leisure Centre Radio which will be broadcast from all 15 Centres in Aberdeen City.It is part of an initiative to promote Healthy Active Lifestyle within local communities.
We have already launched in Angus, Fife, Renfrewshire, West Dumbarton, North Ayrshire and South Lanarkshire and Aberdeen is the First City.
The Broadcast will play easy listening music suitable to all and will be heard throughout the facilities to promote various Classes, Events and Programmes within the centres to encourage more use from all age groups, Children through OAPs basically every demographic in the community.
The annual footfall currently in Aberdeen is a staggering 1.5 million visits which we hope to increase even further with the benefit of the new broadcast.
We have allocated a limited amount of commercial airtime for local Aberdeen companies in all sectors to advertise their products and services directly to the communities they serve.
Oil & Gas companies could also use the service as part of their CSR and or Recruitment opportunities aimed at Apprenticeships, graduate programmes and career changes etc which we will be working with the Aberdeen Guarantee scheme to assist companies in ensuring they are getting their messages across to the local community.
