Christmas is always a time for celebrations and socialising. Aberdeen's Nativity scene in the kirkyard of the Kirk of St Nicholas is an important reminder of what festive activities and fun are all about. It is a lovely scene for conveying the wonderful message of Christmas.

What better way to get into the festive spirit than welcoming Father Christmas to Aberdeen at the city's Santa Parade. Follow Santa setting off on a tour of the city centre in his sleigh, with his trusty reindeer as they make their way along Union Street to the Trinity Centre. This is a fantastic event for children where they get the chance to greet the jolly man and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
