Business Event Set To Draw Transatlantic Audience of More Than 400
A transatlantic audience of more than 400 will enjoy the annual Aberdeen-Houston Gateway when it returns on Tuesday, March 4th.
Hosted by Aberdeen-based Granite PR, the second annual event will feature an impressive line-up of leading speakers, panellists and hosts in Aberdeen, Scotland and Houston, Texas with the two venues to be linked throughout using the latest AV technology.
The Aberdeen-Houston Gateway offers a platform for knowledge sharing and networking between two of the world’s energy hubs. Amongst this year’s participants in Aberdeen will be David Rennie of Scottish Enterprise, Eddie Leigh of Simmons & Company International Limited, Gordon McIntosh of Aberdeen City Council, Professor Rita Marcella of Aberdeen Business School, Professor Andy Porter of Aberdeen University, Jeremy Cresswell of The Press & Journal, Derek Blackwood formerly of the Wood Group.
The event, which is managed by BusinessPlus Scotland, will take the form of a lunch at Aberdeen’s Marcliffe Hotel and Spa and a simultaneous breakfast at the Norris Conference Centers, CityCentre, Houston.
Commenting on plans for the 2014 event, Granite PR founder and managing director Brett Jackson said: “Building on the huge success of the inaugural Aberdeen-Houston Gateway last year, we are delighted at the response to the second event which has attracted an excellent mix of speakers and a very busy delegate list.
