The award winning Events Team are responsible for the planning, co-ordination and delivery of Aberdeen City Council's annual Festivals and Events programme within the City. The Events Team are members of MUTA and NOEA (National Outdoor Events Association) and can provide help and advice on all aspects of event management.

The Business Growth team helps to create the conditions for sustainable economic growth in the city by helping SMEs in a range of ways including: Business Booster programme; Positive Procurement programme; Sector Skills Audit; Recruitment support; Sectoral support ;Commercial/industrial land and property advice/guidance and International trade support, including trade missions, hosting visiting business and Government delegations, trade clinics

Policy and Funding Team

The External Funding Team is in place to enable colleagues to secure the necessary funding and partnerships for the delivery of projects. The team also provide on-going support to ensure that projects remain compliant with the rules of the various funding programmes.
