Aberdeen is renowned for a series of "edgy" festivals; festivals that aren't quite like anything you can see anywhere else.
Aberdeen Festivals Collective is a new group formed to sustain, further develop and promote Aberdeen's vibrant and distinctive festivals offering. You'll be hearing more about the Collective and its work in the next few months but in the meantime read below about some of the wonderful festivals that take place each year in and around Aberdeen.
The Aberdeen Festivals Collective is made up of nine members, these are: Aberdeen Jazz Festival, Arts Across Learning Festival, University of Aberdeen May Festival, Fifty Plus Festival, Aberdeen International Youth Festival, Techfest, Dancelive, North East Open Studios and sound.
