Celebrate Aberdeen
Aberdeen's third sectors unite in a spectacular parade supported by an array of street performers, local celebrities and musical entertainment. The aim of the parade is to involve and showcase community support based organisations in the City of Aberdeen. For more information visit Celebrate Aberdeen.
Aberdeen Torcher Parade
Each year, on the last Saturday in April, Aberdeen University Students hold a night torch parade from Marischal College through Union Street and up to Queen's Cross. This annual event is the largest student torch-lit parade in Europe. With over 2,000 students in fancy dress and various decorated floats, the parade helps raise money for local and national charities.
