Armed Forces Day ParadeWatch the impressive parade of serving military men and women, veteran associations, cadet and youth organisations accompanied by local pipe bands march down Union Street, finishing at the Castlegate.

The parade is a celebration of the history and proud record of the armed forces and allows the people of Aberdeen to show their respect for the role they play within our society.

Design a Flag Competition Winners

Look out for free flags to wave featuring our 1st place competition winner's colourful design by Catie from Greenbrae Primary School. Thank you to all the primary school pupils in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire who entered competition!

  • Handle historical objects from The Gordon Highlanders Museum
  • Fantastic display from the veterans at 1pm
